Work Flow, Audit setup

The following illustrates the work flow steps involved in auditing, using handhelds:
  • Audit Setup: Create the audit on a PC (or Local Area Network);
    or set the audit up on the web <figure 1>.

  • Customer Names: Prepare your customer names and profiles to be downloaded to the handheld as well. Example profiles include Service (aka Measure) pricing, contractors and customer information.

  • Rules: Set up the rules that will generate Work Orders based on Audit discoveries.

  • Conduct the Audit: Perform the audit, entering the data gathered into the handheld.
    Note: Depending if the handheld is wireless, additional information can be downloaded to the handheld depending upon the data being gathered, as the data is gathered.

  • Estimate Costs: As the Audit is being done, begin building an estimate of the cost to implement any changes being recommended.

  • Create Workorder: Optionally, create an actual workorder (which can be validated/authorized immediately if the auditor is wireless) as the audit is being performed.
