Downingtown, PA — October 12th, 2005 — Fundamental Objects, Inc. (FO), maker of handheld foAudits announces synchronization engine support for NSBasic -- one of the first and most popular Basic language tools for handheld software development.
A version of foSync, customized for the NSBasic toolset, provides enterprise-level connectivity to internet-hosted databases or intranet-based databases within the enterprise.
Data is moved without having to build conduits -- and features:
- Full tracking of the session, including:
- Beginning, ending and status of connection.
- Location of connection.
- Username and related information.
- Progress information.
- High speed data transfers (including full files, if desired).
- Compression of data.
- Optional encryption of data.
- Versions for the PalmOS and Microsoft platforms.
Data can be placed directly within corporate databases and can be setup to pass through data edit checks [filtering out bad data] as a customization.
foSync runs several times faster than competitive tools such as Xtnd Connect; AND, is less expensive as well.
foSync is licensed on a per-user basis, with prices starting
at $60 USD per user and a server component that varies in price depending upon the
implementation.
